Hi! My name is Chi-San and I am the founder and creator of The Dance.

I’ve spent the last decade working in the theatre and tv industry as a choreographer and movement director and over that time I have been lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s most prestigious venues and performers. From working on stand up comedy specials to choreographing the winner of the 2025 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, I’ve had the great privilege of spending the last decade helping performers look and feel their best on the dance floor. .

The inspiration for starting The Dance came after gifting some private dance lessons to some friends as a wedding gift. After seeing how much they enjoyed themselves and how meaningful the time together in the run up to the wedding was to them - I was inspired to start The Dance.

I deeply believe that everybody deserves to feel their absolute best on their wedding day and so I offer a range of bespoke classes to all couples and your wedding (or civil partnership!) parties and am dedicated to ensuring that every dance is directly tailored to each couple’s individual needs. Whether you’re you’re looking to move simply and naturally together (no school disco side step here) or you’re looking for a show stopping number with wow-factor, i work hand in hand, meeting you where ever you’re at whatever your level of ability or nerves, to make sure that your time togeteher is joyful, relaxed and most importantly - fun.
