The dance was created by leading West End choreographer and movement director Chi-San Howard. With nearly a decade of industry experience Chi-San has worked with the UK’s most prestigious theatres and performers. She started the dance after gifting a dance lesson to some friends as a wedding gift. After seeing how much they enjoyed themselves and how meaningful the time together in the run up to the wedding was to them - she was inspired to start The Dance.

Chi-San believes that everybody deserves to feel their absolute best on their wedding day. She offers a range of bespoke classes to all couples and their wedding (or civil partnership!) parties and is dedicated to ensuring that every dance is directly tailored to each couple’s needs. She works hand in hand, meeting each couple where ever they are at with both dance experience and ability to make sure that your time togeteher is joyful, relaxed and most importantly - fun.
